An exceptional vintage piece from Project Apollo. A set pertaining to the entire set of photographs taken on Apollo 14. Volume 1 (c. 25pp) is an overview (Data Users' Note) which details the technical aspects of each camera used on the mission, film types and further information about the photography. Volume 2 ( c.140pp) is an index of the 70mm, 35mm, 16mm and 5 inch frames taken with a photo index location diagram of both the lunar Earthside and farside. Volume 3 (c.370pp) is the actual photographic catalog and contains in B&W, every 70mm frame taken as well as 11 panoramas. Excellent NASA History regarding the complex relationship between NASA and the private sector of contractors. An interesting examination of the "sometimes encourage" and "sometimes discourage" positions of NASA in regard to privatization of space projects.
