These four volumes are the hearings before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Astronautics as well as one volume on the hearings before the U.S. Senate Committee on Aeronautical and Space Sciences. Contained herein is the original NASA request in its full presentation both verbally and pictorially. The names of witnesses and presenters is a veritable who's who of NASA at this time: Edgar Cortright, George Low, Homer Newell, George Mueller, James Webb, and others. The presentation examines the mission of NASA, the various field centers and projects. Much included of course on Project Apollo, Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments, SNAP, Surveyor and Lunar Orbiter results, Apollo Applications (Skylab), the different Saturn rockets, and much more. Truly must be seen to be appreciated. Highly important to the space historian. The only copy we have ever seen. Rare.
